Microsoft™ Server using Windows® Server Systems

The Microsoft Windows Server 2008 is currently the most used server operating system, and is usually supported by most third party applications. This is a key-reason why many organizations decide to go with the Windows Server - they use a Windows based accounting software, POS software which requires an active database application running on the server sharing the information.

An other reason for using the Windows Server Operating System is the well known and easy to use GUI. This is helpful for the end customer who prefer to maintain their systems on their own. However, we do not recommend customers maintain their own server systems, because it is usually the 'heart' of a business and requires special attention to maintain an error free operation.
